William Terry Jones Sr.

Mr. William Terry Jones, Sr., 70, of Blytheville, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Herimdale, Missouri. Born on July 21, 1946, in Osceola to the late Pete Jones and the late Helen Sexton Jones, he was a retired mechanic and a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was also a member of VFW Post 24 and a member of the Southern branch NAACP.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Terry Lee Jones and one brother, James Jones.

Mr. Jones leaves one stepdaughter, Markeisha (Corey Hodges) Clark of North Carolina;

One son, William Terry (Crystal) Jones of Lawton, Okla.; and

Five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 1 at the Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Burton Furlow officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 1.
