Mr. Woodrow Wilson, Jr, 74, of Osceola, died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at home. Born on July 4, 1942 in Clarksdale, Miss to the late Woodrow Wilson, Sr. and the late Ellen Harris Wilson, he was a retired welder for International Harvester and was also a deacon of Tabernacle M.B. Church in Osceola.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Wilson, one son, Eric Todd Wilson and one sister, EL Freda Bledose.

Mr. Wilson leaves two daughters, Carol D. (Donald) Johnson-Harris of Metteson, Ill. and J. Renee Terrell of Chicago, Ill.;

Eight sisters, Gloria Newsome of Hazlehurst, Miss., Lillie Jackson of Gary, Ind., Barbara Williams of Los Angeles, Calif., Gracie Bolden of West Memphis, Silvia Nettles of Bellwood, Ill., Ann Wilson of Houston, Texas, Lenora Wilson of Jonesboro and Valerie Lynn Mitchell of Durham, N.C.;

Two brothers, Samuel Wilson of Bryant, Ark. and Douglas Wilson of Rock Island, Ill.;

Six grandchildren;

Eleven great grandchildren; and

One great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Bethlehem M.B. Church of Osceola. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Visitation will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Wilson funeral home in Osceola.
