Clifton Leon Richmond, 51, of Manila, passed from this life Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born in Osceola he was the son of the late Leon and Marilyn Nash Richmond and was raised in the Dyess Community. He was a 1984 graduate of Rivercrest High School and attended Arkansas State University and Arkansas Northwest Community College earning an Associates Degree in Applied Arts. He was a longtime employee of Schueck Steel and was currently employed by Primetals in Blytheville. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and always had a project of some kind going.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Stacey Ann Williams Richmond of the home; three sons, James Richmond and wife Samantha of Manila, Justin Richmond and wife Jessica of Steele, Mo., and Garrett Richmond of Manila; two daughters, GraceAnn Richmond and Erica Richmond, both of Manila; one brother, Jeff Richmond of Pauls Valley, Okla.; one sister, Sheila Lampe of Blytheville. He also leaves one granddaughter, AnnaBelle Richmond, and two grandchildren on the way.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in the Joiner Baptist Church in Joiner, with Rev. Josh Thompson and Rev. Bob Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Bassett Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.

The family will receive visitors Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.
