Mrs. Estelle O. White, 96, of Blytheville, died August 17, 2016 at Forestdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born on September, 27, 1919 in Blytheville, the daughter of Ella Spivey Orr and Dike Orr, stepfather, and Reverend Fred Tate, father. She attended Harrison High School, where she met her husband, Zilmon L. White. After their marriage, Estelle was a homemaker. In August of 1936 during a fall revival, she joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Chuch and remained a faithful member throughout her life. In earlier years, she was a member of the Choir, the Sunday School announcement Clerk, an assistant Teacher of the Women's Sunday School Class and a charter member of the Kitchen Aid Society. In August 2015, she moved to Birmingham with her daughter, Velma, who cared for her. Estelle retained her membership with St. Paul, but sought watch for her soul through membership with True Life baptist Church, in Forestdale, Alabama, under the leadership of Reverend Steve Small Jr..

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Zilmon in 1989, her daughters, Janet in 1999, and Zela in 2005 and her son, Larry in 1975.

Her surviving gamily include a son, Zilmon L. White Jr. of Chicago

Two daughters, Irish D. Evans of Chicago and Velma A. Williams of Birmingham

Nine grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Evangelist Neomi Knight and Marva Jackson, both of Chicago, her True Life and St. Paul Church Families, Norma Howell, a daughter in spirit, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 beginning at 11 a.m. for the visitation and funeral services will begin at Noon at St. Paul Missionary baptist Churchm 1639 West St., Blytheville, Ar. Reverend Benny Washington, Pastor, officiating and Reverend Steve Small Jr., Eulogist. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens in Blytheville.
