Bruce Virgies

Mr. Bruce Virgies, 60, of Dallas, died Monday, June 13,2016, at his residence. Born February 10, 1956, Osceola to the late Cedell and Rosie Lee Anderson Virgies, he was a school safety guard and also served in the United States Army of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Cedell Virgies Jr., Walter Lee Virgies, David Virgies, and Alvie Virgies.

Mr. Virgies leaves his daughter,Ashley Virgies of Dallas;

One son, Derrick Virgies of St. Louis;

Three sisters, Joyce Mitchell and Bonnie Virgies of Osceola and Gail Singleton of Clarkesville;

One brother, Dennis Virgies of Memphis; and

Five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Tabernacle M.B. in Osceola with the Rev. M.L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
