Charles Whitted

Charles Alfred Whitted, 70, of Osceola passed away Tuesday, June 14th at his home in Osceola. He was born in Osceola in November 5th, 1945 to Elmer Whitted Sr. and Florida Hayes Whitted. He serves as an educator for the majority of his life and was of Baptist faith.

He is proceeded in death by his parents,

Two sons;

Two brothers, Fred and Harry Whitted;

One sister; Evelyn Faye Turner.

He is survived by his two daughters, Yolanda Harris of Atlanta, GA and Kim Green of Wichita, KS.;

Four sons, Philip Jerome of Charleston, NC, Bryant Whitted of Osceola, Clinton Marvin Whitted of Bassett and Tyrone Whitted of Chicago, IL;

One sister, Lavelle Wells Sanders of Osceola;

One brother, Elmer Whitted, Jr. of Osceola;

Fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

His visitation will be held on Friday, June 17th 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral will be the following day on the 18th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola. He is to be buried at the Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Pastor Byrant Whitted will be the officiating minister. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
