Road work ahead

A new piece of equipment is allowing city crews to repair city streets. Pictured: Blytheville Mayor James Sanders (far left), Councilman L.C. Hartsfiled (second from left), Public Works director Mark Key (second from right) and Councilman R.L. Jones (far right) recently watched as crews demonstrated the milling machine. As of Tuesday afternoon, the city has used the machine to repair portions of North Franklin, South Franklin and East McHaney to the railroad track.
