Darrel Levins

Darrel Glen Levins, age 77, of the Finch community near Paragould, died Sunday June 5, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Paragould, he was the son of the late Ernest and Retha Baugh Levins and was a 1958 graduate of Greene County Tech. A lifelong resident of the Finch area, he was a retired farmer and longtime member of the Finch Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, Sunday school teacher, and in many other capacities over the years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Brummett Levins, 2 sisters, Flossie McMillan and Clevie McMillon.

Mr. Levins leaves 1 son, 
Darrel Glen Levins II, of Jonesboro;

2 daughters, 
Cindy (Tom) Cross 
Suzanne, and Frahler (Aaron) of Paragould.

2 brothers; 
Gerald Levins and Bill Levins, both of Jonesboro.

1 sister, Ernestine Hochstetler of Georgia

He also leaves 3 grandchildren; Rhett Frahler, Zakk Frahler, and Alicia Frahler; and

1 great-grandson, Liam Frahler.

Funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday at the Finch Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Gage and Rev. Terry Songer officiating. Burial will follow in the Finch Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12pm until service time at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Finch Cemetery Association, 788 Greene Rd 715, Paragould, AR 72450.
