Robert Jacob Shumate, 19, of Manila, passed from this life Sunday, May 22, 2016. Born Oct. 2, 1996, in Blytheville he was a lifelong Manila resident and was a 2015 graduate of Manila High School. Jacob was a field machinist for Team Industrial Services and was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Robert and Courtney Shumate; mother, Bobby Jo Morris and husband David Waddell; stepfather, Steve Ada; grandparents, Doug and Rachael Rose, Linda Cole, Vicki and Mike Hobeck and Bill Morris; two brothers, Joshua David Waddell and Kaleb Joseph Waddell; two sisters, Alysa Shumate and Alexandra Richardson; four aunts, Dianna Morris, Ann Burrow, Priscilla McGuire and Kisha Rose; three uncles, Tran Burrow, Johnathan Rose and Tommy Morris.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Manila with Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila.
