Eloise Churchwell

Eloise Johnson Churchwell, 89, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born to Harvey and Ethel (Quinn) Johnson, Eloise was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Blytheville. She was a loyal member of First Baptist Church and even after her health declined and she could not attend, she watched the services on TV. Eloise loved flowers and gardening, and also loved buying antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Churchwell; her parents; and brother, Odus Ray Johnson.

Eloise leaves her children, Patricia Busby of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and Harry B. Churchwell, Jr. of National City, Calif.;

Sister, Brooxie V. Palmer of Memphis; and

Grandchildren, Deanna Rockefeller Kaye and Robert W. Rockefeller II.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19th at 12:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Childers officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
