Charles Eugene Barrett

Mr. Charles Eugene Barrett, 87, of Leachville passed away May 8, 2016, at his home. He was born April 2, 1929, in Cardwell, Mo., to the late W.T. and Alma Greer Barrett. He was a member of the Church of Christ, enjoyed farming, yard work and flowers.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Wilma Barrett of the home; one daughter, Terri Poe (Roger) of Monette; two sisters, Nelva Jean Sharp (Marshall) of Memphis, Tenn., and Louis Miller of Paragould; one granddaughter, Denell Steele (John) of Paragould; two great-grandsons, Zachary and Zander Poe of Paragould; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Eugene Barrett; one granddaughter, Trisha Michelle Barrett, and two brothers, Ernest and Marlin Barrett.
