Mrs. Hazel Marie Golden, 84, of Blytheville, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Blytheville. Born September 12, 1931 in Clarksdale, Ark. to the late Edgar Chambers and the late Lavern Chambers, she was a homemaker, a member of the Gospel Temple C.O.G.I.C. as well as an emeritus member of the Motherboard.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Golden, four sons, Lester Farris, James Golden, Leon Golden and Roy Golden, two sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Golden leaves four daughters, Erma Golden of Jonesboro, Gloria Golden of Memphis, Tenn., Marcie Thompson of Blytheville and Hazel (Bill) Charlene Taylor of Detroit, Mich.;

Four sons, Willie Golden of Blytheville, Danny (Cheryl) Golden of Riverdale, Ga., Charles (Jean) Golden of Riverdale, Ga. and Toney Golden of Bloomington, Ind.;

Three sisters, Maggie Chambers of Chicago, Ill., Lavern Hayslett of Memphis, Tenn. and Margaret Chambers of Memphis, Tenn.;

Seventeen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Gospel Temple C.O.G.I.C. with Elder Charles Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
