Kelly Anderson Mitchell

Mrs. Kelly Anderson Mitchell, 46, of Gosnell died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in her home. Born January 10, 1970 in Chicago, to the late Martin Van Anderson and the late Stella Jones Anderson, she was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to write poetry and even started a company called the Kelly Belly Poetry Company.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Anderson.

Mrs. Mitchell leaves her husband, Curtis L. Mitchell of Gosnell;

Two sons, Alex M. Mitchell of Gosnell and Quashawn L. Mitchell of Little Rock;

Three sisters, Monica McPhearson of Michigan City, Ind., Stacey Anderson of Indianapolis, Ind. and Mary Anderson of Michigan City, Ind.;

Four brothers, Marty Anderson, Keith Anderson and Stephen Anderson, all of Michigan City, Ind. and Victor Anderson of Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the New Bethel MB Church with Bro. Howard Smith, III officiating. Burial will follow at the Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the New Bethel MB Church.
