Teddy Mack Johnson

Ted Johnson, 62, of Leachville, passed from this life Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at the Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Siloam Springs. Born Nov. 29, 1953, in Manila, he was the son of the late Billy Mack Johnson and was raised in the Buckeye community. A lifelong area resident, he was a 1972 graduate of Leachville High School. Ted was a retired farmer and cotton ginner and was the former owner/operator of The Computer Store in Manila. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Ted was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Agnes and Elmer Dunning and Lola and Rudy Johnson.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Seth McCutcheon of Springdale; his mother, Carol Dunning White of Leachville. He also leaves a very special friend, Vicki Keith, and many cousins and lifelong friends.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel at Leachville. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home in Leachville.

Active pallbearers will be Bud Rauls, Billy Rauls, Travis Galyean, Grant Galyean, Dustin Dunning and Jim Henry Bollinger. Honorary pallbearers include Wade Ball, Joe Ball, Gary Whetsel, Bobby Tucker, Joel White, Larry Lowe, Garry Jolliff, Clifford Browning, Bill Hetler, Frank Guinn and Rodney Robertson.
