Joe Charles Perry, 80, of Blytheville, died Feb. 2, 2016 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born March 22, 1935 in Arkadelphia, he was a retired factory worker and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Perry and Bertha Spearman Perry, and brothers Charles Perry, Lonnie Perry and Leventis Perry.

Mr. Perry leaves his wife, Stephanie Stevenson Perry;

Seven daughters, Iola Williams of Osceola, Shirley Perry of California, Joann Perry of California, Anna Perry Brown of Blytheville, Joann Petty Perry of Jonesboro, Lakesha Perry and Judy Perry of Blytheville;

Seven sons, Bobby Ray Perry of Clarkville, Tenn., Jimmy Lidell of Memphis, Eric Dokes of Southbend, Ind., Joe Ray Perry and Joe Charles Perry, Jr. of Osceola, Jerri Hill of Blytheville and Damione Perry of Gosnell;

Three sisters, Bertha Alexander of Burdette, Mary Perry of Dallas and Annie Mae Hall of East St. Louis;

One brother, Louis Perry of Blytheville; and

A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Truelight Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Isaac Johnson, will begin directly following visitation. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery.

Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
