Johnny Grant

Mr. Johnny Lee Grant, 62, of Blytheville died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born February 26, 1953 in Blytheville to the late Van Grant and the late Sarah Robinson Grant, he was a retired sanitation worker with the City of Blytheville and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Grant leaves two daughters, Tina Grant and Vernita Grant, both of Blytheville;

Two sons, Michael Grant of Blytheville and Timothy Grant of Hot Springs, Ark.;

Five sisters, Lucille Hampton and Bertha Kissely, both of Milwaukee, Wis. and Rosie Robinson, Alberta Grant and Vernita Grant, all of Blytheville;

Two brothers, Franklin Grant of Milwaukee, Wis. and Freddie Grant of Chicago, Ill.; and

Four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus with Bishop Vancell Lucas officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2015 at Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus.
