Jessie Hardie Gordon

Jessie Hardie Gordon, 72, of Leachville, passed from this life Dec. 5, 2015, at his home. Born in Jackson, Tenn., he was the son of the late L.B. and Bessie Lee White Gordon and had been a former Caraway and Dyersburg, Tenn., resident before making his home in Leachville five years ago. Jessie loved to fish and play guitar. He especially enjoyed old gospel and country music by Christy Lane, George Jones, Conway Twitty and others. He was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Jean King Gordon, in 1994; two sons, Franklin Gordon and Rocky Gordon; and one daughter, Linda Morris.

He is survived by four daughters, Sherry Anderson of Blytheville, Tina Brewer, Reba Barnes and Sheila Deason, all of Leachville. He also leaves 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
