Maurice Greene, 64, of Osceola died Friday, Nov. 5 at his home.

He was born in Fordyce, Arkansas to Walter Greene and Gertha Frost Greene Giles.

He was a graduate of Harrison High School and had attended Arkansas State University. After college and Tech School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was a veteran.

For many years, he lived in New York and worked as a computer technician. About eight years ago, he moved back to Osceola. He was a member of St. Mark AME Church.

His parents preceded him in death.

He was married to Rose Mary Bagungol and they were parents of two sons.

Survivors are Rose M. Greene;

Two sons, Maurice Green II and Michael (Maria) Greene of New York;

Three sisters, Saundra Greene and Deborah (Joe) Scott of Osceola and Melvia Miller of Chicago and other relatives.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 13 from 5-7 p.m. at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark AME Church in Osceola with Pastor Bowers officiating. Burial will be in Whiteside Gardens.

McDonald-Horne is in charge of arrangements.
