Mrs. Carrie Sue Berry, 81, of Franklin, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at her home. Born in 1934 to the late Jim Allen and Zada Stallings Haynes, she had been a resident of Tennessee since 1958, and Williamson County resident since 1977. Carrie was a member of First Baptist Church, 7th and Broadway in Nashville since 1959. Although she attended Blue Mountain College only one year, she considered herself a "Blue Mountain girl". She was a dedicated, affectionate wife and mother and was greatly loved by her family and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jim Allen Haynes, Jr., John Haynes, Patsy Taylor, Max Haynes and Hiram Haynes.

Mrs. Berry leaves her loving husband, Alan Berry;

Five children, Kendall W. (Sheila) Berry, Paige Berry, Alana Berry, Sam (Ginny) Berry and Carrie Dale (Scott) Ruark;

Three sisters, Vera Work, Zada Payne and Janet Allene Morehead;

In addition, she was beloved Mame to thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, 715 W. Walnut, in Blytheville at noon on Saturday, October 10, 2015. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the benevolence fund of your choice or perhaps Second Harvest Food Bank, 331 Great Circle Road, Nashville, Tenn. 37228. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 108 7th Avenue, North, Nashville, Tenn. at noon on Monday, October 12, 2015. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m..
