Smile, Blytheville

Thursday, September 10, 2015

I am pretty sure that about right now the morale of the City of Blytheville is kinda low.

In the last few months I have seen ....kind like the movie title, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly in our city. I would have to favor the bad & ugly much more lately in Blytheville.

But, "I know for a Fact that there is Good in our City."

Well here it is: We have to have a starting point and here is my suggestion.

"Blytheville The City Of Smiles"

SMILE!

Practice! Show your Teeth.

A smile is like a universal language. A smile says, "I am approachable. You can talk to me."

Smiles break down barriers between people, tie us together and enhance open communication, processes vital to teamwork.

"A smile never goes up in price or down in value." Our smiles cost us nothing, but they are invaluable in terms of the messages they send to our families, friends, customers, co-workers and the people we meet as we live in this hectic, busy, complex world.

If you have trouble smiling, try rubbing Vaseline on your teeth. A smile makes a good first impression, contributing to the recipient's pereception of the smiler.

A smile sends the message: "I'm a person who likes other people and it's okay to talk to me. You can tell me how you're feeling, pick my brain or give me your opinion. I'm here to help you and I'm interested in you are important to me."

That's quite a strong message for a simple curving of the mouth.

So City of Blytheville, Let's Get Started

Let's become the City of Smiles. SMILE...you might like it!
