Beatrice Faye Meacham

Beatrice Faye Meacham, 89, of Manila, widow of Tom Meacham, passed from this life Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the Monette Manor Nursing Center. Born in Pocahontas, Ark., to the late Rufus and Reedie Tyler, she had lived most of her life in Manila and was a retired nurses aide for the Manila Nursing Center. Mrs. Meacham loved caring for others and working in her flower garden.

In addition to her parents and second husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lonnie Alexander, and a daughter, Sandra Walker.

Survivors include, a son, Danny Alexander of Manila; two daughters Patsy Douglas of Manila and Linda Alexander of Manila; her twin brother, John Tyler of St. Louis; a sister, Cleatis Bolllinger of Manila; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday July 28, 2015, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home. Guest register @www.HowardFuneralService.com
