William Bo McCarty

William "Bo" McCarty, 58, of Cardwell, Mo., died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Paragould, Nov. 8, 1956, to the late William Russell and Virginia Lee McCarty, he had lived most of his life in the Cardwell and Arbyrd areas. Bo served 20 years in the U. S. Army National Guard and was employed for several years by Harrison Farms and later Ward Farms.

Survivors include a son, Devery McCarty of California; two daughters, Melissa Parpart of Kansas and Cynthia McCarty of Oklahoma; four brothers, Billy Joe McCarty of Cardwell, Ricky Allen McCarty of Oklahoma, David Lee McCarty of California, Jack Pernell McCarty of Oklahoma; four sisters, Linda Williams of Cardwell, Roberta Jackson of Pocahontas, Rebecca Djurdjevic of Oklahoma, Sandra McLaughlin of California; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday July 29, 2015, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Mr. Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery.
