Charles Lewis

Mr. Charles Jackson "Chuck" Lewis, III of Dyersburg, Tennessee departed this life on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at Jackson Regional Medical Center.

Chuck was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ in Dyersburg and a former member of Bakerville Church of Christ.

Charles was born on May 22nd, 1961 to Carrie Neal Jordan Lewis and Jack Lewis in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Delta C-7 in Deering, Missouri, as well as The University of Missouri and Arkansas State University. Chuck was a long time employer of Nucor Yamato Steel, a avid fountain pen collector and a lover of art. On June 5th, 2004, Chuck married Melera Utley Spiess.

He is preceded in death by his father Jack Lewis, and his sister Jodi Blocker.

He is survived by his wife Melera Utley Spiess, and their son Ethan Spiess;

His mother Carrie Lewis of Kennett, Missouri;

His niece: Laura Whitfield and her children, Sean, Leo, Kailyn and Kedisha;

As well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at Mcdaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Mo. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 4th, 2015 at Bakerville Church of Christ. Mr. James Powell and Mr. Scott Owen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, MO.
