Linda Riggs

Linda Sue Riggs, age 61, of Manila, the widow of Rodney Riggs, passed from this life Thursday June 11, 2015 at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born December 14, 1953 in Lepanto, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Bill and Pauline Pryor Griggs and had been a lifelong resident of Northeast Arkansas. She was a homemaker and had received an Associates degree in Business Management from the former Mississippi County Community College in Blytheville. She was a Christian and attended the First Baptist Church in Manila.

She leaves her son, Kelly J. Stewart of Manila;

One daughter, Angel Hembrey and her husband Mike of Manila;

One sister, June Smith and her husband Ricky of Lepanto;

Two grandsons, Michael Edwards and Gaige Edwards, both of Manila;

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, with Brian Shanks officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home in Manila.
