Clark

JC Clark, 89, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Blytheville, died at Methodist University in Memphis, TN on May 29, 2015. He was born April 24, 1926 to Ollie Clark and Ola Mae Miller Clark in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a farmworker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Helen Smith Clark of Chicago, Illinois;

Six daughters, Earnestine Coleman of Cleveland, Ohio, Shirley Clark Merritt of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Debra Clark Hutchison of Chicago, Illinois, Elizabeth Rutledge of Flint, Michigan, Kim Stafford Clark and June Clark Williams both of Memphis, TN;

Five sons, Marvin Clark of Memphis, TN, Michael Clark of Jacksonville, Florida, Elfrem Clark, Brandall Clark and JC Clark Jr. all three of Chicago, Illinois;

Three stepsons, Ramonda Clark of Chicago, Illinois, Rodney Clark of Southbend, Indiana and Patrick Clark of Kansas City, Missouri;

Seven sisters, Edna Williams of Denver, Colorado, Arlean Clark of Columbus, Missouri, Francine Clark of Kennett, Missouri, Ollie Mae Clark and Dorothy Clark both of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Clark and Martha Clark both of Seattle, Washington;

Two brothers, Maculay Clark and David Clark of Phoenix, Arizona;

Thirty grandchildren;

Fourty-seven great grandchildren; and

Eighteen great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 6 from Noon-2 p.m. at the Church of Faith and Glory in Blytheville. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens.
