Allen Walters, 96, of Osceola (formerly of Luxora), died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was a retired farm manager and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was born March 12, 1919, in Armorel, to Clarence Walton and Liza Patton Walton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four daughters, Bobbie Pugh, Dorothy Johnson, Erma Baker and Patricia Ramsey; one son, Robert Walters; one sister, Truley May Walters; and one brother, Clarence Walters.

Mr. Walters leaves his wife, Corina Lockhart Walters of Osceola;

Five daughters, Mae Wimbley of Luxora, Rebecca Whaley of Blytheville, Shaneka Weathers of Little Rock, and Mable Garrett and Judy Jacobs, both of Osceola;

Nine sons, Jimmy Lee Rufus and Allen Walters Jr., both of Chicago, Clarence Walters of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Lenell Walters of Aurora, Illinois, Maurice Allen of Phoenix, and Curtis Walters, David Walters, Charles Walters and Kenny Jones, all of Osceola;

Two sisters, Lillie Mae Walters and Irene Towers, both of Bonneville, Oklahoma;

Two brothers, Dorsey Walters and James Walters, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and

A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Larry Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Luxora Cemetery.
