Albert F. "Al" King Jr., 79, of Gosnell, passed from this life on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at his home.

Born to Albert F. and Ada Ruth Mckee King in Sherman, Texas, he was a retired loan officer for Northeast Arkansas Federal Credit Union and retired from the U.S. Air Force after honorably serving his country for 31 years. He was an active and faithful member of Grace Life Church in Blytheville.

Al was one of the most positive men you would meet. His favorite saying several times a day was, "Everything is going to be al lright." This positive attitude revealed a good-hearted man who loved to gather with family and friends at home or at a dinner served by the ladies of the church. His love for God and his country was evident as shown by a man dedicated to his faith in God and responsibility to his country. These characteristics were a life of example to his family, friends and all he came in contact with throughout his lifetime. Al also loved wood-working and was very gifted with his creative abilities. When it came to his wood-working, the only decision he would make was if it would be light or dark oak. He enjoyed working in his yard and growing flowers and vegetables of all types. He also enjoyed traveling and loved animals. He was a prankster who loved a good joke and seemed to always look at the lighter side of life. Remember, "Everything is going to be all right."

Al was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Glen Hackworth; and two sisters, Stella King and Lona King.

Al is survived by his wife, Nola Fay White King of the home;
