Pauline Rinkins

Pauline Rinkins, 68, of Burdette, died Thursday, March 19, 2015.

Born Nov. 29, 1946, in Red Banks, Mississippi, to the late Jeff Porter Sr. and Everline Porter, she was a retired housekeeping supervisor of 30 years at Osceola Healthcare. She was a member of New Salem MB Church in Luxora and on the mother board.

She leaves behind her husband, Roosevelt Rinkins of Burdette;

Her daughter, Mechelle Porter of Iowa City, Iowa;

Her daughter-in-law, Annie Taylor of Jonesboro;

Four sons, Anthony (Royceann) Porter of Iowa City, Eric Taylor of Burdette, Elenzie Porter of Chicago and Maurice Williams of Marion, Iowa;

Three sisters, Dorothy Porter of Homestead, Florida, Helen White of Luxora and Anita Wilkes of Little Rock;

Four brothers, Cleo (Minnie) Porter of Lynchburg, South Carolina, Wilson Porter of Burlington, Iowa, Otha (Patricia) Porter of Osceola and Randy Porter of Luxora; and

Fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Salem MB Church Luxora with the Rev. McArthur Hampton officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home Osceola. Burial will follow funeral at Luxora Cemetery.
