Dorothy Hyde

Dorothy Hyde, 82, of Blytheville, departed this life Friday, March 13, 2015, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born to Louis and Naomi (Young) Rice in Blytheville, Dorothy was a homemaker. She was a member of North 10th Street Baptist Church, and she loved working in the church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Hyde; her parents; and four sisters, Odie Herring, Irene Barber, Jewell Carr and Thelma Putman.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Brandner and her husband Fred of Yuma, Colorado, Tricia Lewis and her husband Steve of Blytheville and Susan Quearry and her husband David of Blytheville;

One brother, Donald Rice of Little Rock;

Two sisters, Louise Hartwig and Irma Brandit, both of Kansas City, Kansas;

Seven grandchildren, Jamie Lanting-Leonard and her husband Phillip, Devin Quearry, Cooper Lewis, Kenzy Quearry, Landen Lewis, Staci Brandner and Sabrina Brandner; and

Two great-grandchildren, Mason Hyde Leonard and Gannon Noah Leonard.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Max Briley officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
