James McDonald "Mack" Johnson, 65, of Blytheville, passed from this life Saturday, Feb, 21, 2015, at the South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola.

Born in Marked Tree, to the late Thomas James and Charlene Floyd Johnson, he was a self-employed auto mechanic and had lived in Blytheville for the past 25 years. Mack was an avid fisherman and music fan, and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Johnson and Thomas Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Helen McCallie Johnson of Blytheville;

Two sons and daughters-in-law, James Johnson Jr. and wife Jacky of Orange City, Florida, and Gary Burl Johnson and wife Jennifer of Blytheville;

Four brothers, Billy Ray Johnson of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Kenneth Wayne Johnson of Dell, Randy Ray Johnson of Blytheville and Scottie Dale Johnson of Gosnell;

Ten sisters, Betty Ann Boone of Bassett, Phyllis Moore of Harrisburg, Judy Johnson of Osceola, Mary Lea England of Wilson, Lisa Butterworth of Manila, Teresa Hembrey of Leachville, Rhonda West of Burdette, Tina McKaskle of Manila, Connie Sutton of Osceola and Vickie Brooks of Manila; and

Three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. James England officiating. Burial will follow in the Marked Tree Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Manila.
