Robert Lee Meacham Sr.

Robert Lee Meacham Sr., 55, of Manila, died Thursday Feb. 5, 2015, at his home.

Born in Osceola, he was the son of the late Charles Robert Meacham and had been a lifelong Manila resident. Robert was a heavy equipment operator for Mississippi County and retired with over 20 years of service with the Army National Guard of Arkansas. He was a member of the Blackwater Baptist Church near Manila.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Davis Meacham of the home;

Two sons, Chris Meacham and Robert Meacham Jr. , both of Manila;

His mother, Pauline Bozarth Meacham of Manila;

One sister, Rossie Bell Meacham of Manila; and

Six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
