Daris "Jean" Pannells

Daris "Jean" Pannells, 75, of Cardwell, Mo., widow of Bill Pannells, Sr., died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Sept. 6, 1939, in Corinth, Miss., she was the daughter of the late William Neal and Lillie Virgie Timmons Meyers and had been a Cardwell resident since 1952.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, A.W. Meyers, Ruben Meyers and Joe Meyers.

Survivors include

Her son, Bill Pannels, Jr. of Cardwell, Mo.; two brothers, Edward Meyers of Cardwell, Mo., and Dewey Meyers of Malden, Mo.; one sister, Jan Hoggard of Cardwell, Mo. She also leaves two grandchildren, Cori Eller and Ashton Pannells.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 until service time.
