Mary Hattemer

Mary Thelma Jane Weatherford Hattemer, 82 of Henderson, Tenn., passed away Jan. 24, 2015, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born May 23, 1932, in Lawrence County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Daley Franklin and Alpha Pauline Walling Weatherford. She went to High school in Manila, Ark. She made her home in St. Louis for 32 years where she worked in bookkeeping in the banking business. She moved to Henderson in 1982. She had made her home at Heritage Towers since 1987 until she moved to Wesley Jackson Highlands Retirement in 2011. She was a member of the Estes Church of Christ.

Mrs. Hattemer is survived by two daughters and spouses, Beverly and Harold Hogancamp of Memphis and Susan and David Presson of Medon; two grandchildren, Lindsay Hogancamp Dunahoo and Brent Hogancamp, and three great-grandchildren, Daniel and Raegan Watkins and Rowan Dunahoo.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Weatherford and Carroll Weatherford, and a sister, Betty Harris.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Manila Cemetery with Mark Wheeler officiating.
