Dorris Jean Morris

Dorris Jean Morris, 63, of Blytheville, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born Sept. 5, 1951, in Blytheville, she was a homemaker and a member of Bridging the Gap Ministries of Blytheville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milburn Morris and Estella Anderson Morris.

Ms. Morris leaves three sons, Rayburn Houston of Warren Robins, Georgia, Marcel Houston of Killeen, Texas, and Taywann Mullins of Greenville, South Carolina;

Three sisters, Linda Hunt of Blytheville, Joyce Morris of Milwaukee and Effie Andrew of Oklahoma City; and

Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive visitors from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Bridging the Gap Ministries. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Jerome Elliott, will begin directly following visitation, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Frenchman's Bayou.
