Joe L. Wallace

Joe L. Wallace, 76, of Osceola, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, in Memphis.

Born on Nov. 16, 1938, in Blytheville to J.L. and Cecil Mae Wallace, he was a retired purchasing agent with Southwire for 26 1/2 years, a process server for the Mississippi County Sheriff Office for 13 years, an officer at the Osceola Police Department for six years and had attended Calvary Baptist Church in Osceola.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Billie Sue Coley, Chris Gibson and Hazel Higginbotham; and one brother, David Wallace.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann Wallace;

One son, Timothy Craig Wallace and wife Theresa of Trinity, Texas;

Two daughters, Tammy Henderson and husband Dennis of Blytheville and Renee Ciepiela and husband Jason of Armorel; and

Six grandchildren, Ryan Henderson, Lauren Jones, Lindsey Jones, Madison Ciepiela, Alexandra Wallace and Taylor Wallace.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
