Harry B. Shearin Jr., 75, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014. He was the son of the late Harry and Margaret (Mullins) Shearin.

Mr. Shearin was the former owner of Harry's Steak House and was the original owner of The Sharecropper. He was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. He was an all-state football player at Burdette High School and also played football at Arkansas State University, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha ("Pike") fraternity. He had many hobbies which included being an avid hog fan, a tractor pull champion and A gardener. He enjoyed cooking and competed as a world champion in the barbecue championship in Russia and Ireland. His other occupations were a farmer, owner of Shearin's RV Park and owner of Shearin Realty.

Harry was preceded in death by one sister, Elva Gene Shearin.

He is survived by one son, Harry B. "Trey" Shearin III and wife Cynthia of Jonesboro;

Two daughters, Karan Beth Shearin of Blytheville and Sally Annette Shroeder and husband Roy of Indianapolis;

Two brothers, Sam Shearin of Blytheville and Don Shearin and wife Diane of St. Louis;

Six grandchildren (who affectionately called him "Big Pa"), Brad Shearin, Marel Shearin, Howard Shearin, Asa Shearin, Samantha Shroeder and David Shroeder; and

The mother of his children, Marilyn Shearin of Blytheville.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Cobb Funeral Home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
