Julia Mae Williams, 70, of Wilson, died of heart failure on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola.

Born March 7, 1944, in Little Rock, she was a homemaker and a member of Anderson Chapel MB Church in Marked Tree, and a member of its Mother Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Inell McNixon and Earnest James; son Tony Williams; sisters Annie Mae Itson and Lucille Jackson; and brothers John Henry James, Freddie Lee James, Crock Junior James, Charles Henry James and Sammie James.

Ms. Williams leaves two sons, Robert James of Wilson and Malcolm Williams of Milwaukee;

Four sisters, Elmyra Brown of Joiner, Beatrice Bass of Omaha. Nebraska, Katherine Wallace of Oxford, Mississippi, and Linda Sue Obert of Milwaukee;

Two brothers, Frank T. James of Little Rock and Herman James of Peoria, Illinois; and

Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Anderson Chapel MB of Marked Tree. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Willie Sanderson, will begin directly following visitation. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery of Marked Tree.
