Letter to the Editor

Elected leaders ignoring streets, dilapidated homes

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

To the editor:

Blytheville, Arkansas, has the worst streets I have ever driven over.

I mean, you can't go anywhere without hitting a bump, pothole or both. I'm not made of money and buying tires and having my car fixed. This really doesn't make sense.

Then you have all these shacks around here that need to be torn down.

Now I see these signs everywhere, re-elect or elect somebody. The only way any of you sorry folks get a vote from me is that Jesus come down from heaven and taps me on the shoulder and tells me vote for him or her.

You say you are going to do this and that, and then when you get in office, the same ones that voted for you write you a letter or try to call you, and it's like you don't even care.

I'm sick and tired of been sick and tired. It's time to get out of Arkansas.
