Deborah Carol Sexton

Deborah Carol Sexton, 51, of Lake City, formerly of Leachville, passed from this life Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Morrison, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Larry Drury and had lived much of her life in Leachville. She was a secretary for Home Oil Company and had lived in Lake City for the past 15 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Thomas and Amy Thomas, both of Monette;

Her mother, Gracie Drury of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas;

Two brothers, Danny Drury of Lafe, Arkansas, and Dave Drury of Jonesboro; and

Three grandchildren, Lena Watts, Maddisyn May and Jadyn Thomas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
