Daisy Velma Crawford, 75, of Manila, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, in the Manila Nursing Home.

Mrs. Crawford was born Oct. 12, 1938, in the Big Barren Community of Ripley County, Missouri, to the late Redden (Buster) Taylor of Doniphan, Missouri, and the late Leta Bridges Taylor Woody of Steele. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Steele and had worked as a supervisor in a nursing home.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two husbands, Charles (Pete) Clifford Ryan and Wesley Wendell Crawford; and a brother, Clarence Taylor.

Surviving are three sons, Bradley Crawford and his wife Michelle of Brookland; Chuck Ryan and his wife Lisa of Gosnell; and Randy Ryan and his wife Teresa of Brookland;

Two daughters, Delayna Slavings and her husband Jeremy of Hayti; and Dana Schafer and her husband Chris of Wendell, North Carolina;

One sister, Ella Dean Wooldridge of Campbell, Missouri;

Five brothers, Gerald and Earl Taylor, both of Doniphan, Wayne Taylor of Steele, Kenneth Taylor of Rockfield, Kentucky, Steve Woody of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and

Ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Crawford will be held at 1:45 P.M. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Big Barren Cemetery, with Chris Ryan officiating. Visiting will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
