Peggy June Jackson, 80 of Blytheville, passed from this life into her glorious eternal life on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at her home in Blytheville.

Peggy was born on May 22, 1934, to Wesley and Virginia Stallings of Blytheville. She was a resident of this area for her entire life. Peggy was a true Southern belle and gracious host to many. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Blytheville, where she taught Sunday school, served on the social committee and enjoyed the explorer women's bible study group.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, brother Matt Stallings, sister Teena Burnett and daughter Vickie Freemyer.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Charles "Bobby" Jackson;

Two brothers, Don and Michael Stallings, both of Blytheville;

One sister, Beauton Gilbow of Norman, Okla.;

A daughter and son-in-law, Les and Valerie Bishop Kent of Magnolia;

Her granddaughters, Kris Gravett of Arkadelphia, Ashley Stewart of Blytheville, Micah Sudbury of Dallas, Carrie Price of Arkadelphia, Wesley Ann Thomas of Blytheville and Virginia Freemyer of Blytheville;

One grandson, Beau Bishop of Maumelle; and

Her most prized possessions, her 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family will be taking visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the home of Dale and Ashley Stewart, 3231 E. County Road 262, Blytheville.
