The Rev. Patrick Lloyd "PL" Cronk, 86, of McRae, Ark., died of cancer on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at White County Hospital in Searcy.

Born March 1, 1928, in Sumol, he was a minister, and had been a preacher and pastor since the mid-1960s.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Jessie Simpson Cronk; his first wife, Mildred Cronk; sisters, Bonnie Harshfield and Doris Layton; and brother, Harold Cronk.

Cronk leaves his wife, Imogene Cronk of McRae;

Two daughters, Marilyn (Lynn) Ice of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Denise (David) Walker of San Marcos, Texas;

Three sons, Mike (Linda) of Peculiar, Mo., Mark (Sonia) Cronk of McRae, and David (Sandra) Cronk of Harrisonville, Mo.; and

Thirteen grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

The family receives visitors from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Victory Worship Center in Beebe.

Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Mike Cronk, the Rev. Lynn Ice, the Rev. CL Robinson, and the Rev. Leeroy Nelton, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Victory Worship Center. Burial will follow at Midvale Cemetery in Summersville, Mo.

A second service visitation will be from 6- 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Midvale Pentecostal Holiness Church in Summersville. Second funeral services will be at Midvale Pentecostal Holiness Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30.
