Eva Geraldine Hopper, 87, of Osceola, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, in Osceola.

Born Sept. 18, 1926, to the late Horce Lee McCullough Sr. and Melba Joyce McCullough, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired nurses aide and owner of Geraldine's Cafe in Luxora.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hopper; her parents; two brothers, Horce Lee McCullough Jr. and L.D. McCullough; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Kelley; and one sister and daughter-in-law, Candice Bussey Hopper.

Survivors include one son, Rex Hopper of Osceola;

Four grandchildren, Laura Kelley of Gosnell, Lana Stovall of Jackson, Miss., Jason Hopper of Biloxi, Miss., and Gordon Wesley Hopper of Blytheville; and

Ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at Calvary Baptist Church in Osceola, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Prince Cemetery in Bald Knob.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Mackenzie Kelley.
