Grady Dean Leveritt

Grady Dean Leveritt, 64, of Gosnell, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born Oct. 9, 1949, at Island 35, Mr. Leveritt worked in maintenance for the city of Osceola. He served in the Marines, and was of the Nazarene faith.

His parents, Elmer and Willie B. Leveritt, and his wife, Judy Leveritt, preceded him in death, as did a sister, Beulah Leveritt.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly (Donald) Brister of Lepanto;

Four grandchildren, Jessie Leveritt of Gosnell, Michael Wilson II of Judsonia, Ark., D.J. Brister of Jonesboro and Meghan Brister of Osceola;

Five great-grandchildren, Bailey Taylor, Kadyn Brister, Nathan Yancey, Brylee Crocker and Mason Leveritt;

One sister, Sadie (Chuck) Malone of Manila; and

One brother, William "Bill" (Ruby) Leveritt of Osceola.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the funeral home, with Bro. Neely officiating. Burial will be in Bassett Cemetery in Bassett.

Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
