Lucille McCarroll Ozment Bradway passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born Dec. 24, 1921, in Hoxie, Lucille was a long-time resident of the Blytheville area. She was 92. Lucille loved nothing more than taking care of her family which she did until the end. She loved to cook, garden and spend time with her family above all else. Lucille was a petite woman with a heart of gold. She had an amazing inner strength and can-do attitude. And she was spunky. Her sister Maxine said, "Lucille was the only one she knew who would go bear hunting with a switch."

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mabel McCarroll; husbands, Therron Ozment and Lyman Bradway; sisters, Irene McCarroll Cannon and Ruth McCarroll Ballard; and brother, J.C. McCarroll.

She is survived by her loving sister, Maxine McCarroll Gown of Oak Harbor, Wash.;

Her adoring children, Linda Ozment Roell of Ventura, Calif., Gary Ozment of Holland, Mo., Carol Bradway Arft of St. Petersburg, Mo., and her daughter-n-law, Linda Copeland Ozment of Holland, Mo.;

Her grandchildren, Mark Artf of St. Petersburg, Mo., and Michelle Roell Sezzi of Ventura, Calif.;

Two great-grandchildren, Noah and Isabella Sezzi of Ventura, Calif.:

Four nieces, Shelia Collier, Debra House, Barbara Ballard, Peggy Hale; and

Two nephews, Ronnie Gown and Bob Ballard.

Lucille's children would like to thank Peggy Hale, who was very helpful and special to Lucille and to whom Lucille appreciated so much.

The John W. German Funeral Home in Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
