Debbie Cook Perkins

Debbie Cook Perkins of Cabot went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, in her home, with family by her side after a year-long fight with cancer.

She was born on Aug. 21, 1963, in Blytheville, to Coy Jr. and Mary Bowers Cook. She grew up in Dell and married her high school sweetheart. Debbie enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, hunting, supporting her children's activities and making memories with her family and friends. She attended Briarwood Baptist Church and helped with the Food Pantry Ministry.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Phil Parish, Jane Schinke and Leonard "Bubba" Cook.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Perkins and two sons, Zac and Hunter, all of Cabot;

Three sisters, Ann Baccus of Russelville, and Kay Emerson and Susie Minyard, both of Blytheville;

One brother, Roger Parish of Dixon, Mo.;

Fifteen nieces and nephews; and

Countless friends and loved ones.

Daniel, Zac and Hunter would like to thank CARTI, Arkansas Hospice and the many friends and family for their love and support.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Thomas Funeral Service. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Briarwood Baptist Church.
