Thomas Gene "Mutley" Metcalf

Thomas Gene "Mutley" Metcalf, 56, of Hornersville, Mo., died Thursday July 10, 2014, at the family home.

A lifelong Hornersville resident, he attended Senath-Hornersville Public Schools and later served in the U.S. Army. He was a diesel mechanic for Bibbs Trucking in Hornersville and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his mother, Edith Cole of Hornersville; and

Three brothers, Greg Fletcher of Hornersville, James Fletcher of Hornersville and Jeff Cole of Senath.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. Burial with military honors will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
