Janet Lucille Lambert

Janet Lucille Lambert, 67, of Manila, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center. Mrs. Lambert was born May 24, 1947, in Kennett, Mo., to the late Price and Grace Herron Nettles. Mrs. Lambert enjoyed coloring, crossword puzzles, and buying shoes and purses.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Donald Lambert of Manila; one son, Charles William Lambert and wife Angel of Monette; three daughters, Lee Ann Harrington of Manila, Jody Martin and husband Randy of Manila, and Rose Marie Bogart and husband Kenny of Holland, Mo.; one brother, Gene Nettles of Oklahoma; three sisters, Dorothy Grubbs of Missouri, Mary Johnston of Missouri, and Pat Etheridge of Tennessee; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, James, Jerry, Aubrey, and Bill Nettles; and one sister, Virginia Nettles.

Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at the Westside Baptist Church in Manila with Brother Andy Andros officiating. The family requests private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
