Mrs. Betty Dickens, 77, of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Burleson, Tenn., to Samuel Farris and Ruby Lee Caroline Talley Perry, she was the retired owner and operator of Betty's Kountry Kitchen.

Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a hard worker who showed her love for her family through her cooking. She will be missed by all who knew her, including her dog, Molly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Reed; her son, Tim Dickens; grandsons Mark Brown and Zachery Cook; great-grandson Kyle Dunkerson; and brother Gilbert Glenn "Buddy" Perry.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Brenda (and Eddie) Brown of Pleasant Hope, Mo., Marcella (and T.Q.) McGee of Chunky, Miss., Terry (and John) Arcement and Penny Cook, both of Blytheville, and Amy (and John Paul) McFadden of Luling, La.;

Her grandchildren, Wendi (and Jon) Marshall, Angela (and Michael) Johnson, Carry Dunkerson, Dwayne (and Leslee) Dunkerson, Daniel Reed, Amanda Smith, Brent Arcement, Krisha (and Kyle) Agent, Macie Cain, Ashton Peery, Ashley McFadden and Hailey McFadden;

Twelve great-grandchildren;

A brother, Gary (and Peggy) Perry and a sister Janie (and Rick) Greenwell, both of Blytheville.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Elmwood Cemetery with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. There will be no visitation. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.cobbfuneralhome.com
