Garry Dan Bunch

Garry Dan Bunch, 62, of Manila passed from this life Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Leachville he was the son of the late George and Grace Hicks Bunch and had been a Manila resident for most of his life. He was a 1969 graduate of Manila High School and retired from the United States Navy after serving more than 20 years as an in-flight avionics technician and flight communications operator. Following his military service he worked as a master electrician through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, local 1516. Garry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manila.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Crouch Bunch of Manila; two sons,

Daniel Bunch of Manila and David Bunch and wife Cassie, also of Manila; three granddaughters, Whitney Nichole Bunch, Molly Rose Bunch and Addie Grace Bunch. He also leaves three brothers, J.R. Bunch of Piedmont, Mo., Jim Bunch and Michael Bunch, both of Manila; three sisters, Martha Cary of Forestill, Mo., Minnie Bourland of Fairfield, Calif., and his twin sister, Sherry Pratt of Manila.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Manila with Rev. Jared Russell and Rev. Ray Dill officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tony Crowell, Lynn Wilmuth, Tommy Carter, Woody Nunnally, Scott Rose and Nicholas Cagle.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila.
